ABOUT POMPEU INVESTMENT CLUB
OUR MISSION
The mission of Pompeu Investment Club is to inform, prepare and inspire students of Universitat Pompeu Fabra that want to set the foundations of a successful career in the financial industry.
OPERATIONS
PIC's team executes its mission through two types of activities. First, by managing a mutual fund with capital committed by all analysts. Second, by organizing workshops and events with top firms and industry leaders.
INVESTMENT STYLE
The Fund investment strategy is based on value investing principles. Following a top-bottom framework, analyst teams detect undervalued companies through Public Comparables Companies and Discounted Cash Flow analysis. The companies are then presented to all analysts and put to vote for the final construction of the portfolio.
